How we achieved a footfall of 2000+ visitors to a rural business in its first week

William’s Den is a brand new indoor and outdoor adventure play attraction nestled in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds.

We created all branding and pre-launch marketing activity which included building a large following using a combination of social media, PR and other digital tactics to raise awareness and intrigue.

The Strategy

Offering competitions to get children engaged and involving influential networking groups such as MumsNet, we created a sense of eager anticipation and soon caught the attention of the local, regional and national press, which we developed through to a media launch and official opening event.

Having supported with the mission and vision, we developed the brand from scratch and made sure it was central to every marketing decision made. Naturally this included tangible visual identity outcomes, such as clear visual branding on their website, social media channels, external signage and internal wayfinding signage as well as branded merchandise on sale in their on-site shop.

The Results

Having come up with the idea five years ago, owners Tor and Christian Carver turned to us to help them turn their dream into reality and the reality into every child’s dream. The feedback from the 2000+ visitors that walked through the doors in its first week tells us that we’ve succeeded.

Since William’s Den opened three months ago, they have had 50,000 visitors through their doors.
